‘what if nobody kisses me?’ is exactly what you think it is. This EP laments over finding love in your early twenties, but getting your heart broken over and over again.
With upbeat indie-pop instrumentals and cheeky lyricism, Marian Carmel pokes fun at the way she learns how to love. The tracks on this EP cover familiar infatuation-related mishaps, such as falling for a friend, or accidentally saying ‘i love you’ too early, or never being able to forget that one girl you kissed in Amsterdam.

SINGAPORE’S FIRST
ROLLERSKATING CONCERT
Held at Hi Roller Indoor Skating Rink, the ‘what if nobody kisses me?’ launch party was Singapore’s first roller-skating concert (as verified by Marian Carmel). Imagine prom but on wheels – the audiences enjoyed a live performance of the EP in its entirety, followed by an add-on rollerskating session accompanied by a DJ mix specially curated for skating by Marian herself.
The launch party was Marian’s way of saying thank you to her listeners who have supported her on her music journey, as well as celebrating the milestones she’s achieved as an independent artist. From writing songs in her bedroom to performing her music in different cities across Asia, Marian combined three things she loves the most on September 27 2024 – music, rollerskating, and her community!
